Tweets
I finally have something to post about. Last night we were sitting down for dinner and "SMACK" a bird flew straight into the window. I started to laugh because birds seem to love our big sliding window and fly into it all the time. This bird happen to be a beautiful meadowlark with a bright yellow belly. These birds sing a very beautiful melody and it made us sad that it was hurt. Matt went out scooped it up and it sat calmly in his hand. It must of had the wind knocked out of him because he didn't try to fly away. We put him in the only bird cage I had (decorative) gave him water and Matt even cut up a worm for him and fed him it from a stick. GROSS!!! I had nothing to do with it. The kids LOVED him and were so excited to see him. They really freaked him out he even escaped once. We had him spend the night in a box and then we released him the next morning. Fun times!
