Jake is smiling!

It is really hard to get a picture of him smiling. This was taken at the Temple at Matt's brothers wedding. We took a lot of pictures that day and this is the only one that turned out good.

June 2006

I cant think of anything exciting to write about so I am going back two years when I lived with Tamara and Jarad.

Now that it is finally warming up and everyone is turning on their water, I thought that it would be fun to show you what happens in Herriman if you leave the water on for 6 hours.

Now many people might think that this picture has been photo shopped. I don't even have a clue to how that program works.

For those who don't know Matt and I lived with Tamara and Jarad for the summer two years ago. I can't remember why I had the hose on but I totally forgot about it. So I had Tamara climbed in to show you the full effect. Yes she is standing in the hole. When Jarad came home from work he thought I was planning on planting a tree:)

Notice that Matt is holding a shovel.

Thanks again to Jarad and Tamara for putting up with us for the summer.

Spring has Sprung

I am so excited that it is getting warm. My flowers are starting to come alive.

Aiden loves to sit in the grass. He is such a good baby. It is only a matter of time until he is crawling. I can't believe how fast time goes. I broke out the spring clothes yesterday we enjoyed the sun shine.

Its a bus, its a bee its . . .

Matt's new truck.

We sold the gas guzzler (passport) and replaced it with this truck. It runs on gasoline and natural gas, like our car. Now yellow is not our first choice of colors when it comes to vehicle colors. But we couldn't get really picky because it is hard to find natural gas vehicles. Matt really wanted to have a truck that was 4 wheel drive and I really wanted an extented cab -for the kids. We have been looking for a long time and couldn't pass up this truck. We have talked about paining it but we realize that their are a lot of the fancy sporty cars/SUV are the same color. And the paint is in excellent condition so for now we will just keep it the same color. I love to ride in it but I (Teresa) don't dare drive it. It fits in our garage with only inches to spare. Matt had to take a vent on the cab because it didn't fit. So thats his latest project. Matt has ordered some new rims because the ones on this one are all rusty.

Jake and his Monkey! About a year ago I bought this monkey leash for Jake because I couldn't keep Jake with me. He thought it was so funny to dash off into the street, in the suppermarket, etc. I was tired of it and thought this was the perfect solution. However, he HATED it. When I put it on him he would do his little angry dance and cry. He found it about a week ago and loves it. Yea for mommy!!

Our New Addition to our Family

This is SoBe. Yes, like the drink. She is our newest member to the Davidson family. SoBe is a chocolate lab and is about 18 months-2 years old. Matt has always wanted a dog. He had a golden retriever when he was growing up named Toby. Matts parents have a dog and Jake loves to play with him. We adopted her from the animal shelter in SLC. We have only had her for a couple days, and in those couple of days she has fallen in LOVE with Matt. I have to emphasis Love because she follows him everywhere. She is really hyper and loves human interaction. So far she is good with the kids. She just has a wild side of her and some times that scares Jake. I could see why, to be honest some time she intimidates me. But she really wants to be part of our family. She has "kennel cough" and some diarrhea so right now she is a outdoor dog.

We also got her to guard the sandbox from the neighbor hood cats. They have decided that our new sandbox is a kitty heaven for pooping. I am tired of finding kitty surprises in the sand and hope that SoBe will do her job at keeping those cats out. I thought that my daycare kids would be scared to death of her but they love her. This will be a fun new experience.

This is her right after her first bath. She did not like it one bit.
